Alastair is an Partner in the Corporate Department based in our Edinburgh office.
He joined Maclay Murray & Spens in October 1997 and is qualified as a solicitor in both Scotland and England & Wales. He is also accredited with the Securities Institute's Investment Advice Certificate.
Alastair specialises in investment vehicles and joint venture structures for the real estate sector where his knowledge in the field of commercial property is of particular use. He has considerable experience in advising on the most appropriate vehicles (onshore and offshore) to use for development and investment joint ventures and funds.
Alastair also has extensive experience in general corporate practice and has acted for a broad spectrum of clients in a range of high profile transactions.
Alastair is a member of the firm's Private Equity Group and Financial Services Group.
