Arbitration

Although historically Arbitration has tended to be used mostly in specialist areas such as construction disputes and shipping disputes, there is no reason why it should not be used effectively in any commercial dispute. It has advantages of privacy and flexibility over court remedies and when used effectively, can produce good results for clients.

Legislation is currently before the Scottish Parliament which will regulate the conduct of Arbitration more effectively and we would anticipate growth. We have good experience in handling Arbitrations both in Scotland and London.
