Alison has specialised in Employment law for more than 8 years and is an Associate based in our Glasgow office. She works closely with our commercial contracts/outsourcing, corporate and property teams providing employment law support on projects including mergers and acquisitions, re-organisation of businesses and outsourcing. She spent 6 months on secondment with a client which gave her hands-on experience of a large scale TUPE transfer where she was involved with the negotiations of the legal documents as well as meetings with unions, interviews with transferring employees and transition planning.

Alison also supports and advises clients on the full range of human resource queries which arise from day to day. She acts for clients in employment tribunals and judicial mediations, predominantly for employers. Alison provides training on a wide range of employment issues, including how to handle outsourcing situations from an HR standpoint, disciplinaries & grievances and recruitment.

Alison is a member of the firm's Contracts and Outsourcing Group.
