Euan joined the Commercial Dispute Resolution Department of Maclay Murray & Spens in 2004, having cross-qualified in England and Wales in 2001 after moving from New Zealand where he originally qualified and practiced.
Euan has experience in and advises across a range of commercial disputes and issues. His higher profile matters have included contractual disputes - including those specific to the oil and gas industry; alleged breaches of directors' fiduciary duties; search and seizure orders and associated urgent relief; fraud and consequential cross-border asset tracing claims. He enjoys experience across most dispute resolution forums, including ad hoc and institutional arbitration, and mediation. Euan frequently assists his corporate colleagues in resolving disputes without resort to litigation.
Euan further qualified as a Solicitor Advocate in 2005, and regularly has conduct of litigation in all divisions of the High Court.
