Ewan is a partner in the Commercial Dispute Resolution Department, with particular responsibility for property, planning and construction litigation. He spent time in London with a major City litigation practice before returning to Maclay Murray & Spens as a partner in 1985. His property litigation team has taken a lead role in a recent series of ground-breaking Scottish cases on various aspects of commercial leases, including the first "keep open" cases in Scotland. He was also responsible for the first Business Petition to the new Scottish Parliament.
