Gemma is a Senior Solicitor in the IP & Technology department based in Edinburgh.
Gemma joined Maclay Murray & Spens LLP in 2007 as a trainee, and for the first few years post qualification, worked as a Solicitor in the Commercial Dispute and Resolution department. From this, Gemma gained a broad range of experience in dealing with civil and commercial litigation. She has appeared in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland, and has represented both pursuers and defenders in the Court of Session.
Gemma now specialises exclusively in IP & Technology related disputes. She has knowledge and experience of patent litigation, trade mark disputes and design and copyright issues. Her clients are from a range of sectors including fashion and retail, oil and gas and the pharmaceutical industry.
