Gillian Simpson is a director based in our Edinburgh office. Prior to specialising in planning law, Gillian's background was in the property development and investment sectors. Gillian specialises in all aspects of planning law, including inquiry work, appeals, applications to the Lands Tribunal, judicial review, legal agreements and enforcement matters. In addition, Gillian has extensive experience in Compulsory Purchase Orders and related compensation issues, transport and infrastructure projects and utilities matters.

Gillian is also a member of the firm's Parliamentary Group, Transport and Infrastructure Group and the Energy and Natural Resources Group.
