John is a consultant in our Oil and Gas Team and has worked in the oil and gas sector as a lawyer since the 1970s. He has worked at a number of oil and gas companies including Burmah Oil, Chevron, the British National Oil Corporation, Saxon Oil and Marathon Oil (where he was head of legal).
He was also head of the oil and gas unit at Nabarro Nathanson and, as an independent consultant, has worked with BG, Bridge, Conoco, ExxonMobil and Marathon amongst others. He has many times worked on data rooms and asset due diligence.
