Linda Coe studied law at Cambridge. She is a consultant in the EU, Competition & Regulatory Department. She joined Maclay Murray & Spens from Ofgem where she worked from 2002 as a Legal Director. Linda has extensive experience in working with Government and regulators in the energy sector, having been sole legal adviser at the Electricity Pool of England & Wales and then Company Secretary at ELEXON. She also has wide experience in acting for regulated entities having been Company Secretary at Thames Television and Group Compliance Officer at Eagle Star. She was also senior legal adviser to British American Tobacco where she was responsible for mergers and acquisitions in the Former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Linda is a specialist in regulatory law, in particular in the postal, energy and water sectors.
