David joined our contentious construction and engineering team in January 2012, having previously spent 13 years with another large commercial firm in Scotland and, before that, over 12 years with a major City of London law firm.

David has specialised in contentious work since 1988 and has been involved in a wide variety of disputes. He has extensive experience of all forms of dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration, statutory adjudication and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. David is qualified in England and Scotland (and Hong Kong), is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Construction Law, and is a CEDR Accredited Mediator.
