Mark Hamilton is a partner specialising in employment law and the pensions aspects of transactions.
He is based in our Glasgow office. He joined MMS as an assistant solicitor in 1991 and has been a partner since 1998. Mark advises on all aspects of employment law including negotiating and terminating contracts, unfair dismissals, employee relations, redundancies, re-organisations and the transfer of employees under the Transfer of Undertakings Regulations (TUPE). He also represents clients, both employees and employers, in contentious matters and appears on their behalf in employment tribunals and in the Employment Appeal Tribunal. Mark also advises on the pensions aspects of corporate transactions and outsourcing arrangements as well as on the interaction of pensions and employment obligations.
