Mary is a solicitor specialising in employment law within our London office, advising (mainly) Registered housing providers and third sector care organisations across the full range of non-contentious employment issues including unfair/constructive dismissal, redundancy & reorganisation, discrimination, equality & diversity, whistleblowing, discipline & grievance, absence/performance management, data protection, national minimum wage/working time, atypical working, family friendly rights, regulatory matters (vetting, safeguarding & financial probity), and first, second & subsequent generation TUPE outsourcing and re-provision. She also supports clients with policy/contract audit and revision.
On the litigation side Mary's work encompasses Employment Tribunal (and EAT as appropriate) disputes including unfair dismissal, breach of contract, unlawful deductions, working time and (often complex, high value) discrimination claims on behalf of employers. She also advise senior individuals on termination encompassing negotiated exits and as a precursor to litigation.
