Michael is a senior solicitor in the Financial Services Group based in our London office. Michael studied law at the Nottingham Law School having previously gained a degree in French at Glasgow University. Michael then spent 18 months at city firm CMS Cameron McKenna in the Banking and International Finance Department before moving to the City Law Partnership and qualifying in the Corporate Department in March 2001.

Michael has a wide range of experience of fund management work including the listing and restructuring of Investment and Venture Capital Trusts both in the UK and offshore. Michael has also worked on a large number of share and business acquisitions as well as a variety of corporate restructurings relating to both quoted and unquoted companies. Michael advises clients operating across a range of industry sectors but with particular emphasis on the Financial Services industry, including asset management and investment companies, banks and life companies.

Michael is a member of the firm’s Investment Funds and Capital Markets Groups.
