Pete joined MMS as a trainee solicitor in 2008 and is now a qualified assistant in the Private Client department.

Pete works in the department's Family Law Unit and has been involved in both contentious and non-contentious cases. He has experience in matters relating to separation, divorce and dissolution, cohabitation and parental responsibilities and rights in relation to children. Through considerable involvement in matters involving high net worth individuals, he has also developed an understanding of the treatment of business assets within the context of family disputes.

Pete also works closely with the Trusts, Estates and Tax Planning team in the Private Client department and has considerable experience of the preparation of wills and powers of attorney, the administration of executries and the formation and administration of trusts. Our clients' family law matters and estate planning needs often cross over and Pete's experience in this area makes him ideally positioned to provide advice which addresses our clients' specific requirements.

He is a member of the Family Law Association in Scotland.
