Roger Mackenzie is a senior solicitor in the Family Law Unit. As well as being trained in collaborative law, Roger is experienced in dealing with high profile financial and child law cases in both the sheriff courts and the Court of Session. Roger regularly acts for high net worth individuals in negotiating divorce settlements and in drafting pre-nuptial agreements. Roger writes regularly for various publications on family law matters and is co-editor of the Family Law Association Bulletin. He also tutors in family law at the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow and edited a recently published guide to separation and divorce in Scotland. The Legal 500 directory reports that clients praise Roger for his 'excellent depth of knowledge regarding divorce matters', while Chambers 2012 says clients appreciate that 'he is very good at explaining the law in layman's terms'.
