Shirley is dual qualified to practice law in Scotland and England and has wide corporate recovery and insolvency experience both north and south of the border having spent 8 years working at another leading firm. She has acted for a number of leading insolvency practitioners and major banks in the appointments of Administrators, Receivers and Liquidators to insolvent businesses advising primarily in disposals and trading and other issues arising in the insolvency process. Shirley is also experienced in the use of bank "upside" instruments including equity subscriptions and solvent restructuring transactions.

Shirley is a member of the firm's Corporate Recovery Group.
