Simon is an Associate in the IP & Technology team in the London office. Before joining MMS he was a solicitor in the commercial team at City Law Partnership. He has extensive experience advising on a range of intellectual property issues and on IP&T and commercial contracts. In addition to his own London practice, Simon works closely with the London corporate team advising on IP&T and commercial aspects of corporate and business sales and acquisitions.

Simon’s clients include PLCs in the food & drink and financial services sectors, and companies with major interests in the energy sector, including oil & gas exploration & production companies, many of whom have international operations or interests. He has recently re-joined the team after completing a successful secondment with Nexen Petroleum U.K. Limited where he led negotiation of its key oil and gas services and construction contracts for its Golden Eagle Area Development, working closely with the legal and project teams.

Simon is a member of the firm's Oil & Gas Group and Contracts and Outsourcing Group. He is also a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators, the Society for Computers and Law and a former active member of the British Franchise Association.
