Theresa joined MMS in 2004 as a trainee solicitor and having spent three years post qualification in the Housing Projects Department of Trowers and Hamlins, she re-joined our Housing & Care Department in February 2010. Theresa specialises in Social Housing and has worked for Registered Social Landlords, Charities, Care Providers and Lenders, in a variety of property matters and charging transactions. She has experience in a range of property related issues including the acquisition of development sites, transfers of care homes and the provision of care services, sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties and property finance. In respect of her property finance work she acts on behalf of the lender in assessing the properties being put into charge and also for Registered Social Landlords who are trying to obtain the property finance.
