Sporting chance for sex equality

There is a sharp contradiction between the perceptions of most employers who genuinely believe their recruitment and remuneration policies do not discriminate on the basis of gender, and the seemingly endless surveys and reports that reveal a persistent deep-rooted bias against women in the UK workplace.
