Established in 1989, Lex Mundi now boasts 160 law firms with 385 offices and 14,000 lawyers between them. The membership criteria are stringent: firms must provide high quality, responsive client services across the full range of legal services required by commercial clients. They must also be leaders in the use of technology.

Ironically, our status as Scotland's representative also benefits our English clients. Lex Mundi has a policy of not taking on an English member, and so our London office provides an opportunity for English clients to access the network.

The advantages are considerable. Laws and regulations vary widely and can be highly complex, so local legal expertise is essential when companies seek to compete in the global economy. Lex Mundi allows our clients to access these legal resources quickly and efficiently.
