MMS has made a key lateral hire to its growing employment, pensions and benefits (EPB) practice in London. Roger Tynan is the office’s third EPB partner - working alongside Gary Cullen (pensions) and Chris Smith (employment) – and joins the firm from Campbell Hooper, where he had been a partner since 2003.
Roger Tynan said: “This is an exciting time for MMS’ London employment practice and a great point at which to join the team. I am pleased to be part of a firm which has, in a relatively short time, built a strong reputation in London for its dynamic, full-service approach and its ability to tackle the most complex, resource-hungry cases.”
The existing City EPB team comprises nine lawyers, led by two partners.
Magnus Swanson, chief executive of Maclay Murray & Spens, said: “Roger’s clear focus on employment law is a perfect fit for our London EPB practice, strengthening and broadening the specialist expertise we are able to offer. As well as contributing to the management of the department's existing caseload and providing employment law support in transactions, Roger will also play a key role in realising our ambitious growth strategy for EPB in London, with the full support of our 31-strong UK-wide EPB team.”
