Significant changes to tax regime for UK oil and gas companies

As anticipated, yesterday's Budget contained a significant package of changes to the tax regime for oil and gas companies operating in the UK or on the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS). This follows extensive consultation with stakeholders from January 2006.
