Alastair Wyper, Partner |

Alastair is the Partner in charge of our Aberdeen office (since April 2003). He studied law at Edinburgh University and trained with McClure Naismith in Glasgow. On qualifying in 1994 he joined Maclay Murray & Spens. He left for a two year spell as a corporate financier with Quayle Munro Limited before returning to become a Partner with Maclays in 2000.
His specialist areas include mergers and acquisitions and private equity, MBOs and MBIs. He has extensive experience of advising US and international companies in relation to mergers and acquisitions particularly in the Oil & Gas sector.
Alastair is a member of the firm's Private Equity Group and Oil & Gas Group.
