Trainee Appraisal

In order to ensure that trainees are developing the skills required during their traineeship, it is important that we give all trainees the opportunity to reflect upon their performance and experiences under the guidance of an appraiser. We believe that this will further ensure a well rounded traineeship allowing us to support trainees with any development needs.

For Scottish qualifying trainees Law Society reviews must be carried out quarterly, with 8 required in total throughout your traineeship. No such system is currently in operation for English qualifying trainees. Scottish Qualifying trainees are also required to complete an End of Seat appraisals as part of our internal aprpraisal process.

English qualifying trainees are required as part of our internal appraisal process to submit Interim and End-of Seat appraisals.
