Induction

Starting your traineeship at the beginning of September, you are given a 3 day induction, during which you will:

• Meet and hear from the Firm's Chief Executive, Chairman, and Directors, as well as some Associates and Trainees
• Expectations and objective session where we will ask you to look forward over the next two years focusing on what life will be like for you as a trainee as well as assisting you to formulate objectives for your traineeship
• Receive IT training in all of the Firm's systems
• Receive training in cash room procedures
• Receive training on the Firm's Client Care Standards
• Learn how to use the resources of the firm's Library
• Be trained in dictating techniques and working as a team with a secretary
• Have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the firm's support functions including Marketing, HR, IT and Finance
• Tour both Edinburgh and Glasgow offices
• Have lunches and informal drinks in both Glasgow and Edinburgh with a number of your new colleagues including Partners, Associates and current Trainees
• Receive training on the Firm's Client Care Standards
