Summer Student Programme

MMS will be offering students the opportunity to apply for a Summer Placement in 2010. The placements will last for a 3 week period between late June and July. This opportunity is open to all students who are looking for a traineeship commencing in 2012.

In Scotland you will be placed in one of our 12 legal departments in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen. We will take into account which office location you prefer.

In London you will be placed in one of our 9 legal departments at our One London Wall office.

Placements are paid and you will attend an induction on your first day covering general firm information, IT training and guidance on how to get the most out of your placement. You will be supported within your department by a 'buddy' who will ensure you settle in and will be available to answer any queries you may have.

How to apply

This is a great opportunity to put the theory you are learning at University into practice and will give you a flavour of what it is like to work in a commercial law firm. It will also provide you with first hand experience of our people and the culture of the firm. This opportunity is open to all students intending to commence their traineeship in 2012.
