Our top rated Tax team, which we believe to be one the largest of any outside London, deals with the negotiation of tax aspects of corporate and commercial contracts and tax planning for deals and corporate structures. Contentious tax work is also undertaken.
The department provides proactive tax advice to clients at the point where they are considering embarking on a deal and has particular expertise in the structuring of deals.
Although the team is primarily concerned with providing tax advice on client projects, its constant monitoring of national & international changes in tax law means that clients are not just advised on current law but also on how best to position their affairs to take advantage of changes in the law in the future.
